Cuvée La Confluente

Blanc de Blancs Millésime 2014

This vintage is a blend of two plots located in the confluence area between the Seine and the Arce, in the Côte des Bar.

Two grape varieties: Chardonnay (80%) and Pinot Blanc (20%).

Two plots: “Les Devoix” (Merrey sur Arce) and “Val Moré” (Bar sur Seine).

One year: 2014

Vinification: 5% of the wine is vinified in oak barrels.

Juice exclusively from cuvée hearts

Aged for 45 months in the cellar

Dosage: Extra Brut.

Tasting: Lemon yellow colour with pale greenish yellow reflections. Delicate nose, notes of lime, white peach, acacia flowers, fresh grapes, limestone. Clean and fresh on the palate with a pulpy and crunchy fruitiness, underlined by a tight lemony acidity.

Food/wine pairing: Fines de claire oysters, Avocado and scallop carpaccio with passion fruit, Prawns and creamy risotto with crisp asparagus, Fresh goat’s cheese.

Serving: 10°C in a curved flute.
